Problem

The office day starts the evening before with First Vespers, so the Vespers of one day concurs with the Second Vespers of the previous. Concurrence rules decide whose Vespers is said and whether the other is commemorated.

Acceptance criteria

  • Concurrence between adjacent days is resolved per the precedence table
  • The yielding office is commemorated at Vespers where due
  • Splitting of Vespers (a capite/a capitulo) is represented
  • Unit tests cover at least three concurrence cases

Notes

Depends on the liturgical-day boundary foundation.
