Delete branch "fix/428-sanctoral-rank-corrections"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
Second slice of the #428 accuracy burndown: the sanctoral corpus-rank corrections. Every change was independently verified against the authentic 1962 General Roman Calendar (Rubricae 1960) by a multi-agent, multi-source check — not conformed to an oracle blindly.
Raised to their proper feast class (were commemoration-grade)
St Lawrence Justinian (Sep 5), Most Holy Name of Mary (Sep 12), Ss Cornelius & Cyprian (Sep 16), St Januarius & Comp. (Sep 19), St Thomas of Villanova (Sep 22), St Linus (Sep 23), Ss Cosmas & Damian (Sep 27), St Wenceslaus (Sep 28), St Edward (Oct 13), St Martina (Jan 30), Ss Cletus & Marcellinus (Apr 26) → III class; St Joachim (Aug 16) and the Seven Sorrows of the BVM (Sep 15) → II class.
Lowered to a commemoration (was a III-class feast)
St Hilarion (Oct 21) → the day is a feria with commemorations of St Hilarion and Ss Ursula & Comp. (doubly-witnessed).
Co-commemorations added
Making those saints principal surfaced a pre-existing gap — the commemorations the 1962 Missal prints alongside them were absent. Added (commemoration-grade): Ss Euphemia, Lucy & Geminianus (Sep 16), Ss Maurice & Comp. (Sep 22), St Thecla (Sep 23), Ss Ursula & Comp. (Oct 21).
Deliberately NOT changed — verification refuted the oracle
St Didacus (Nov 13) and St Ubaldus (May 16) are genuine III-class feasts;
missalemeumalone under-ranks them (SSPX did not corroborate). The adversarial verifier confirmed the engine is right and the oracle wrong, so these stay in the baseline as a noted discrepancy rather than being conformed away.Result
