Problem

Consumers need a single authoritative guide covering installation, day() usage, selectors (rubric system, overlay, options), and the output contract.

Acceptance criteria

Integration guide covers install, basic and advanced usage
Every public method and selector is documented
At least three worked examples are included
Docs are linked from the README

Fold in the output-contract doc from v0.1.0.
