Problem

The masthead strip is a compact horizontal calendar for site headers, showing today flanked by neighbouring days, sourced from the bundled Core. It ships as a shortcode and a block. Depends on the approved strip mockup.

Acceptance criteria

The strip renders a configurable window of days centered on today, matching the approved mockup.
Each day shows its liturgical colour and links into the day view.
The strip collapses gracefully on narrow viewports.
A block variant produces identical front-end markup.
