Problem

Screen-reader users need meaningful structure and labels, especially for the calendar grid and rubric markup.

Acceptance criteria

The calendar uses appropriate roles so dates and selection are announced correctly
Rubrics-in-red are conveyed semantically, not by color alone
Controls have accessible names and states
Landmark regions (nav/main/footer) are present
