Stage 4b continuation — Vespers + Compline (per-annum)
Adds the two evening hours, leaving only Matins deferred in the Little Office BVM. Continues #504 (Lauds) and #505 (Little Hours).
Vespers
Five psalms (109, 112, 121, 126, 147), each under its own Song-of-Songs antiphon (Dum esset Rex · Læva ejus · Nigra sum · Jam hiems tránsiit · Speciósa facta es) — the Lauds-like shape. Then chapter Ab inítio, the 7-stanza hymn Ave maris stella, versicle, the Magnificat (Lk 1:46-55) under Beáta Mater et intácta Virgo, and the collect Concede nos fámulos tuos.
Compline
Three psalms (128, 129, 130) said without a proper antiphon; the hymn Memento rerum Cónditor (in Compline's own punctuation), chapter Ego Mater pulchræ dilectíonis, versicle, the Nunc dimittis (Lk 2:29-32) under Sub tuum præsídium, and the collect Beátæ et gloriósæ. The seasonal Marian anthems that end Compline (Salve Regina etc.) are deferred — they rotate on a different seasonal axis than the office, like the Commemoration of the Saints.
Fidelity
Latin read from the Commons verso page-scans and verified leaf-by-leaf at 2–5× magnification (the sweep that caught two accent slips in #505 found none here); English from the Wikisource proofread text; each leaf cites its printed page. Per-page punctuation/accent variance is preserved as printed, not normalized — e.g. Compline's Memento drops the comma after grátiæ/Jesu; the book prints glóriosa (accent on the first o) at Sub tuum but gloriósa in the Compline collect; dilectíonis/deliciis kept as the book sets them.
Validation
verifyOK (byte-reproducible; born-cited gate passes).composer checkgreen (phpcs[OK], phpstan clean, 1247 tests / 145,846 assertions / 1 pre-existing skip); freeze accepted the move.06b7120d → 18c01c24, corpusVersion1962-2026-07-19.4; engineVersion stays0.5.0.Both commits signed + verified. Only Matins (invitatory, lessons, responsories — needs new part types) and the seasonal forms remain.
