Build phase two: overlay the fixed-date sanctoral on top of the temporal grid with a deterministic rank sort. Done when fixed feasts appear on their dates with correct rank, colour, and commemoration shape, ready for precedence resolution.

Epic — child issues are tracked as sub-issues.

Epic complete — the fixed-date sanctoral overlay

All six sub-issues are merged (squash → develop):

  • #24 loader + the Calendar\RealizedObservance seam (src/Sanctoral/) — PR #340
  • #25 deterministic rank sort (highest first, canonical-id tiebreak) — PR #341
  • #26 CelebrationRole / RoledObservance / CommemorationLimit — PR #342
  • #27 the four surviving vigils, linked to their feasts — PR #343
  • #28 octave suppression + interaction (all sanctoral octaves gone; 3 temporal survive) — PR #344
  • #333 leap-year bissextile shift (Matthias 24→25 Feb) — PR #345

The overlay places a representative, cited seed of the 1962 General Calendar onto
its civil dates, ordered by rank, with vigils, commemorations, and the bissextile
shift — as a standalone layer alongside the temporal fillers. Every liturgical
datum was adversarially verified against the 1962 books. Composing the two layers
by precedence, commemoration, and transfer is Epic #29.

Core is at 395 tests / 30,196 assertions. Design record:
docs/design/sanctoral-overlay-model.md.
